Perfect place for a quick espresso, a pastry or foccacia, and to hear the locals banter pleasantly back and forth. Welcoming/kind to tourists but made for the locals. Wifi available, no restrooms that I could see, perhaps if you asked them. We went twice in our three day stay and would happily return again.

We bought some delicious wraps for only 6€, everything was fresh, warm, very filling and simply wonderful and the service was amazing. It’s located on the way to villa Monastero, right in the centre. Lovely

We will be returning. My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this little cafe restaurant shop today. We had toasted sandwiches, beer and cappuccino. The waitresses/staff were super funny, great service. They sell beer/wine/snacks/cigs/ and even have some slot machines along with lotto tickets. This place feels authentic, not a touristy place.I had the aged beef sandwich with mushrooms and cheese, and my wife had the parma ham, cheese and mushrooms. The bread was crunchy and warm. So delightful. We will return.

Great place to grab a sandwich and a drink. Good prices and friendly staff. There are a few tables outside and also stairs to seat

This place has the best pistachio croissant ever! Coffee was great as well and the owner was very nice despite the morning rush. I will definitely visit again if I come back to Varenna.
