2 fatalities involving ATV’s reported over the weekendTwo fatal ATV accidents have been reported in the Tri Cities region over the weekend. In Carter County, Sheriff’s deputies found the remains of a missing person in the Valley Forge area. 51 year old, Timothy Waycaster, was reported missing around 10 p.m. Saturday evening. Waycaster had left to go on an ATV ride and had not returned. Carter County Sheriff’s Office investigators and the Carter County Coroner responded to the scene, along with the Carter County Rescue Squad’s Technical Rescue team. In Dickenson County, The Sheriff’s Office confirmed an Abingdon man was killed after an overnight ATV accident. The man, identified as 44 year old Kenny Eugene Collin Jr. was killed in the accident that happened near Nancy Hollow Road. Collin was last seen on the ATV around 8 p.m. on Friday. The sheriff’s office was notified of the accident at 9:29 a.m. on Saturday.Abingdon, VA3 days ago
