Job DescriptionAs a global HR Consulting firm, Korn Ferry works with clients to close the gap by making sure the right people are in the right roles with the right rewards and support to succeed. Through five core solutions, organizational strategy, assessment and succession, talent acquisition, leadership and professional development, and total rewards, we help clients synchronize strategy and talent to drive performance. Each of these solutions are supported by the Digital team’s technology platforms, developers, and delivery personnel. Ensuring our products, and the teams that support them, integrate privacy and security into their activities is of utmost importance.
We are looking for a sharp and effective Sr. Manager for our Digital Compliance organization with a passion for the constantly evolving world of technology, privacy, and security. The Sr. Manager, in Digital Compliance is an integral part of the company’s Digital team and helps drive our market success by ensuring “privacy and security by design” is embedded within our digital products and processes. The successful candidate will quickly learn how our products are architected, developed, used and most importantly, understand the data that flows through them. Additionally, this role will be responsible for addressing key compliance initiatives that need to be programmatically addressed and completed within a set time frame.
The Sr. Manager will work under the Sr. Director of Compliance & Privacy under the office of the Chief Operating & Delivery Officer, Korn Ferry Digital, and will be responsible for handling Governance/Risk/Compliance projects to completion. It is imperative that the Sr. Manager be able to work in an agile environment and be collaborative with organizations and people across the firm.
To be successful in the role, the Sr. Manager will require strong analytical, organizational, and consulting skills as well as strong knowledge of information security, audit, risk management, privacy, and other organizational compliance functions. They must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be measured in their approach.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Sr. Director Compliance & Privacy, ensure that all essential elements of Korn Ferry’s data privacy framework are fully implemented within Digital teams.
- Develop process enhancements and requirements to enable the business to maintain compliance while developing solutions at a rapid pace.
- Ensure that documentation and other privacy and security artifacts for digital products are kept current and available in support of meeting regulatory requirements and certifications.
- Educate the Digital team on privacy and security best practices and standards for the purpose of incorporating these into products and processes.
- Work closely with SMEs in the business, IT Security, Corporate IT, Development, etc. to ensure all stakeholders are in alignment with future processes and controls.
- Ensure that digital teams understand data privacy and security requirements created by contractual arrangements, country regulations, data transfers, data deletions, etc.
- Partner with the Corporate Technology function on enterprise-wide compliance initiatives including ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 certification, GDPR compliance requirements and other regulatory initiatives.
- Work with Privacy and Security to identify and/or facilitate internal risk management reviews.
- Maintain comprehensive reporting that informs management of status of on-going privacy and security projects, deadlines and highlights risks and remediation progress.
Supervision
- Reports to Sr. Director, Compliance & Privacy and will work closely with all of the Digital Organizations, as well as Korn Ferry Corporate organizations.

Professional Experience/Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in a consulting, audit, or technology environment
- Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to work across multiple, complex projects.
- Ability to understand broader business issues, must have a high degree of business acumen.
- Ability to communicate and consult with senior management.
- Experience with identifying privacy and security risks and working with others to determine and plan remediations.
- Ability to collect and manage evidence repositories.
- Ability to influence understanding of internal subject matter experts and external auditors.
- Experience of working with development teams preferred.
- Certifications in privacy or security areas a plus (CISA, CIA, CDPSE)
Skills: Working knowledge of these areas is highly desirable:Consulting practices
- Certifications such as SOC (SSAE 16), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley compliance), ISO 27001 and 27018, CSF
- Familiarity with standards and compliance frameworks such as NIST and COBIT
- Privacy regulations, inclusive of GDPR
- Operational and strategic planning
- Knowledgeable of and interest in learning about new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML)
Additional Skills
- Analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent customer service and time management skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and writing skills.
EDUCATION
- Four-year bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Risk Management or Computer Science

75.00 USD
Salary range represents the compensation Korn Ferry expects to pay to a candidate with the requirements for the job posted.
