When it comes to getting your lashes done, tipping is pretty standard and appreciated. It's a way for you to show your technician that you're happy with their work and grateful for their time and effort.

An eyelash business consists of a lash salon where trained lash technicians apply eyelash extensions and other lash-enhancing products to your face. Of course, it's not a matter of a one-time visit like you experience at a nail salon.

Getting the Plumbing Right

It can be a shared sink. If you have treatment rooms than this is a separate issue. Depending on the services being provided you may not need to plumb every treatment room. For those rooms that are being used for lashes or brows, you don't necessarily need a wet station.

DON'T Wear Makeup

It's important you arrive to your appointment with a clean face. This also means no lash curling beforehand. Be sure to remove all eye makeup and avoid applying creams or oils on and around your eye area.

Use the bathroom before your lash appointment

Although your lash artist will allow you to go mid-appointment should you need to, we recommend going before-hand to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible.

Can I wear makeup to my lash appointment? It's required that your eye area be clean and completely free of makeup. You can wear moisturizer and foundation but no under eye concealer, mascara, etc. Your lash artist will require you to remove any makeup around your eye area before the start of your appointment.

Appointment Etiquette

Arrive early - allow ample time to check-in, fill out client forms and relax before your lash experience. Be courteous - turn off or silence your cell phone during your appointments. Please do not bring children. Remove all make-up and moisturizers prior to your appointment.
